You can create your own audio file or video on voicethread. It allows others to leave a comment - either by recording a message themselves, or using the text box. It is collaborative and very easy to use.

This is a fantastic tool for creating podcasts - as it's all based online, you don't need to ask your students to download any software. They can add video or images to their podcast as well.
